Pillow Fort

Pillow Fort attempts to capture that almost humanly universal warm-fuzzy feeling: the whim and impermanence of childhood. Eschewing the bizarre for the not-so-strangely familiar, Pillow Fort is nostalgia at play, bordering campy duckiness, through a cheeky and irreverent form that invites the curious to symbolically go back to their now-idealized mistakes of youth.

True to its inspiration, the folly is made of Tyvek® - a non-woven polyethylene, recyclable, semi-translucent, lightweight paper material that is UV, tear and water-resistant, which can be self-attached to create a single large surface.

Many activities can take place in Pillow Fort, such as reading, playing board games, pillow fighting, or making out, but it is purposefully purposeless, so it is whatever you make it out to be.

When Pillow Fort’s stay is over, it can live out its days (until its recycled) in another field of past, present, and future dreams.
