Nooks & Crannies

Nooks & Crannies hearken back to a not-so-distant past when we could go to out-of-the-way places, snuggle down and escape from the world. A single, thin aluminum wall looping in and around creates areas to hide and seek, hunker down, and chat with friends and strangers through quirky holes. It playfully wraps the existing lookout tower, blurringly reflecting visitors and their immediate surroundings, while warmly enveloping them. All the while the scenery that emerges between its billowy surface, the water, and the sky, is an image like a daydream, with faint light running through the landscape and living things, giving a sense of calm, comfort, and — hopefully — a little bit of fun.
