Dandelion Pavilion
Dandelion Pavilion takes inspiration from the form of a flower’s seed head — light, airy, transient — designed to serve as a kiosk and behave as a catalyst for growth in culturally significant locations around Shekou Prince Bay New Cultural District, Shenzhen. It also serves as a ticketing center, mini-gallery, and information booth, as well as a digital clock. Composed of three sizes of steel-framed cubes to form a 5 × 5 × 5-meter sphere, its middle perforation panel divides the kiosk into two compartments to allow for simultaneous multifunction use, while its different sized cubes allow for various-sized displays.
